Unable to install Thermal Mode Button Driver for Y430 on Windows XP

When I try to install the Thermal Mode Button Driver on XP, I get the following error:

"There is not enough space on drive D:\ to extract this package. Please free up 14.44MB and click Retry."

Clicking Retry gives me the result I'd expect (same message).

I use the driver located here:

Lenovo Thermal Mode Button Driver

My D:\ drive is my CD drive.

All of my TEMP/TMP environment variables point to C:\

Any help would be appreciated!

For a bit of clarification, I replaced the HDD on my system, so I don't have a "Recovery Partition" as D:\

Okay, I solved it myself.

I renamed D:\ to E:\, inserted a USB key, and installed.

Worked like a charm.
