Unable to shrink partition

Hi, I wish to shrink my main windows partition down to around 50gb and split the spare space into other partitions but it will not let me shrink beyond 443gb in windows disk management. I have run a scan disk, turned off hibernation and done a defrag but i still receive the same problem. Any solutions please? (I'm using Windows 8 on a Z585 ideapad)

Re: Unable to shrink partition

I solved the problem by using Easus Partition manager, I'm happy now I do not have a bloated C drive. Smiley Happy

Re: Unable to shrink partition

Hi Robbli,

Thanks for the advice about the partition software.

So I believe you can arrange your partition as you wish right?  Instead of have a lot of them you can just adjust as many as you want and reduce the system one?

Am I correct?

Also with that soft you can install W7 ? (instead of w8).

  Thanks again, regards

Mariano
