Hello Lenovo support,
I just tried to update my BIOS on my Lenovo Z50, which has Windows 10. I chose the file this site said I just use, 9bcn91ww.exe, but when trying to install it I get the message:
IHISI: Get support mode error in SMI!
SMI Return Code: 0x45
Am I trying to install a wrong version or is it something else?

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
The instruction states "Run 9bcn91ww.exe (With admin authority)". So right click the file and select "Run as administrator".
