I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade my laptop non-touch screen to a touch screen, and maybe a 4k?
Welcome to the Community Forums!
Glad to have you here @JoseMoura1.
There's no guarantee if it will work since it will require a digitizer connection for the screen to work through its touch features.
You can check your device's hardware maintenance manual through this link.
It shows in there that both devices does have different part numbers for its parts and for other parts that make the touch feature work on the Y50-70 touch screen feature to work.
Please also check pages 92 - 95 to see a more detailed view of the components and their part numbers. This also goes with using a 4k screen, you can only use parts that were indicated for the touch/non touch versions of Y50-70.
Hope this answers your concern. Regards.

thanks for the manual its very handy to have.
As far as i understood, if I buy the
EDP cable, EDP C Y50-70T UHD
LCD Module C Y50-70T UHD
it should work because the motherboard its the same for both touch and non-touch.
Do I'm correct?

Both devices does have the same motherboard build/part number and there's a possibility that it could work.
It's just that we can't guarantee or confirm if it will work without any issues.
If you do have that said spare part, it would be recommended to try it first on your device.
