Upgrading Lenovo Ideapad Z510

Hi Everyone,

I would like to upgrade my lenovo Ideapad Z510 (Ram and Hdd). I had followed all the instruction you gave in other posts, but then I found out that my MTM is different:80A359409283.  Could you please help me? Which SSD and RAM should I install?

I'd like to install a 250Gb SSD and 8gb or 16gb of Ram. I'd appreciate if you will give to me the best options...

Just to let you know i have seen this SSD:https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B078WQJXNF/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2CABT10F3XXLT&psc=1

And this Ram:https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B007B5S52C/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A133OE3V0CYMNH&psc=1

Are this good?

Thank you all in advance!

Re: Upgrading Lenovo Ideapad Z510

Hello @checcho!

Glad to have you here.

The SSD and RAM that you provided on this post can be used for your Z510 laptop's MTM 80A359409283.

Both part(s) matches the laptop's specifications.

You can also check your device's hardware maintenance manual to see additional details and on how it can be installed on the Z510 laptop.

Hope this answers your concern.

Thanks!

Hello again @checcho!

The SSD/RAM that you have provided are confirmed to work on your device by fellow members/users.

Those said parts will work without any issues once installed or added on the Z510 laptop.

Thanks!

Re: Upgrading Lenovo Ideapad Z510

Hi again @checcho!

We can only use parts for upgrade as long as they're compatible with the device itself.

Those said parts (same specs) were also used by other users into their Z510 laptop when they've decided to upgrade its specs.

As long as it does have the same specifications regardless of its brand, it will and should work with the device.

You can definitely use/check the Z510's hardware maintenance manual to see the best parts (and its limitations) that can be used for the device itself.

It also depends on the benchmark reviews for each parts and user recommendations as well.

Hope this answers all of your concern.

Regards.
