Weird keyboard problem, Lenovo p400 touch (Please help)

2013-08-15, 16:17 PM

Initially, the keyboard was working just fine. Howevee, out of the blue the keys: t, y, shift, and backspace do not respond at all anymore. The touch screen keyboard works so i believe the error is in the physical keyboard. I am not using an external keyboard and hope to get some help in resolving thos problem before i start college!

This is only one of the pronlems i have with this computer but the only one that needs fixing.

Please and thanks in advance.

hi epicgear60,

Try booting the system in Safemode.

But if it's still the same

If the System is still in warranty It would be best to call Lenovo Technical Team,

Or If you're comfortable checking the Keyboard Cable connection, You can check this maintenance Manual of your system to get access to Keyboard connection, Remove and reconnect the Connection and see if that'll work.
