I'm italian, sorry for my bad english.
My Lenovo IdeaPad z500 has a problem. I have a router with 150mbps wifi n but my Lenovo is only able to connect at 65mbps (sometimes, for few seconds, at 72mbps). I'm so close to the router and there is nothing between me and it. I have full signal and there aren't other wifi that use my channel. I use WPA2 AES as criptation method. The problem is on my laptop because my father's laptop, an old Acer, is connected at 130mbps.
I have no idea what to do, please help me.
Thanks so much for future answer!

Thanks for the answer but I read that and a lot of topic in this and other forums and no one solves my problem. The fact is that the laptop is connected in N mode but at only 65mbps. I tried to look for a value in the setthing of the wireless card but I didn't understand so much. So I think, but I'm not sure, that the driver is the problem, although I didn't find a better driver.
If can help I have Windows 8 64bit, my wireless card is "Broadcom 802.11n" and I'm now connected at a Netgear Genie WN2000RPTv2 that is connected to the main router at 130mbps.

I've already set only 20Mhz. But nothing. Any other ideas?
You should use the 20/40 like I did in mine to realize channel bonding (speed increase).
