laptop - y50-70
So everything was working fine one day and then the next day when i start my laptop, i see no wifi networks in the list. airplane mode is off and i have tried almost every solution i was able to find online. i have tried uninstalling the network cards and restarting my pc for it to install it again. I tried the command prompt solution but it said no such key exists.
i am only able to connect to the internet through my ethernet cable. rest of the computers and mobile phones in my house show a list of networks.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Was there anything changed on the unit such as Windows updates perhaps?
If so I woudl recommend that you revert back to the previous version, and see if the issue persists or not.
Also, try to download the WiFi and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.
Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.
And for good measure, Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
