Windows 10 Z570

2015-08-21, 16:47 PM

I updated  my Z570 to Windows 10 several weeks ago and have had nothing but problems.  The worst is missing keys a mouse clicks in every application.  I type 20 characters and lose at least 5 of them.  I notice the Z570 is not on the Lenovo list of machines ready for 10.  Does anypne know if and when it will be supported?

Rather than waiting for support from Lenovo which may never happen, why not start reinstalling drivers available in the site and using Compatibility troubleshooter.

OK, but I'm not exactly sure how to do that.  Firstly, there are no Win 10 drivers listed for the Z570.  If I look for example, at the Synaptics Pointing Device driver (I am having huge problems with the keyboard), are you saying I should download the Win 7 version.  The version on the website is 15.2.7.0 and my system is at 19.0.9.5.

Also, how do I access the Compatibility troubleshooter.

After downloading the file, use File Explorer to locate it. Right click the file and select Troubleshoot Compatibility.
