-You need to go ahead with refreshing your PC , Use the below steps to perform it :
1) Go to PC setting
2) Choose General Tab
3) Then from the Pop up page select Refresh my PC
Hope the above solution will sort the issue out

hmmmm.......I don't have a W8 machine right now to find it, but I think the directory you're looking for is c:\windows\cache - delete everything in it, and reboot. It's how I fixed the store on the first U510 they sent me.
Let me dig around and see if I can find the link where I got the instructions again.

it says "The Windows Update service is not started."
changed the name
Then it said it started successfully.
Windows store still cannot open.
