Wireless card from another lenovo causes start up error

As my y560 starts, I get the message

'Error! Not support wireless LAN in system please turn off system and check your wireless LAN

Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to set up.

I press F1 and log in and the device works fine.

The card I put in is a intel wifi link 5100 agn from another Lenovo laptop.

It's a bit annoying.

Thanks,

Re: Wireless card from another lenovo causes start up error

hey brewer,

it might be a compatibility issue between the two that is causing this. try installing the 5100 agn driver on your Y560 and see if that fixes the issue
