My laptop had a precison touchpad before sending it in for repairs.
(The repairs were for the connecting plastic around the hinges)
When my laptop came back it looked like they replaced a good deal of the parts on it. A lot of it looks like new parts including some plastic pieces, the keyboard, and of course the touchpad. But my touchpad now feels as basic as can be. The touchpad settings also have no hint of it being precison. Also has no multi touch.
So what's the deal? Anyone else have this happen? What should I do? My warranty has recently ran out. I sent it in just before my warranty ended.
Edit: It's a Y40-80
