OK. Let me try to make this clear.

Here's my summary of all previous posts:

 

Your Idea: Despite everything else, 'eccmd' should be able to tell me if my SSD is working or not.

 

Fact: As I have already states, the SSD is not detected as a connected device in the operating system. Therefore 'eccmd' is not capable of knowing anything beyond 'The HFS volume is not mounted'. (Please note that this does not really tell if the SSD is working or not. It is only telling me 'ExpressCache' is not working.) The real problem could have been with the BIOS settings or drivers.

 

Conslusion: Thanks for trying. However, your suggestion doesn't really help
