I upgraded an Ideapad Y430 to Windows 7. When Win7 fully boots, the keyboard is not functional until I plug in an external USB mouse (the touchpad works fine). Then, if the external mouse is plugged in when the computer goes to 'sleep', I have to unplug the mouse to get the keyboard to function.
I have tried all the usual fixes (uninstall, delete drivers, etc.). Lenovo support basically told me that there have been reports of this problem, but since I upgraded to Windows 7 I have voided any software support and Lenovo will not help me.
Does anyone have some suggestions (other than buying a new laptop!) ???
