A month ago I ordered a Y460-06334GU from the website. It was well specced and well reviewed and I was excited when it arrived just short of Christmas. I was less excited when it arrived with a stuck keyboard key. Nuts.
Over the phone I was given the option of a DoA or a repair. DoA made sense but I'd loose the deal price and I did want the laptop. I was assured a five day turn around time and that the fix should be relatively simple and that sealed the deal. I sent it in on 12/23, it arrived 12/27 and work started 12/28. On 12/28, the repair went on hold due to a "service parts shortage."
It appears that it went into limbo from that point forward. I've made several inquiries and all were dead end repeats of what is on the Depot Repair page.
Now I'm a little frustrated. "Five days" is now two weeks and I don't even see this laptop for sale on the site. Any suggestions on what I should do? I really don't want to escalate this thing.
