Y50-70 - Black Screen and Flickering started after warranty servicing.

So yeah the title pretty much says it all.

Intel 4720HQ

Y50-70 GTX 860M 4GB

 

Stuff I tried so far:

Update the Bios

Update the Video drivers for Intel Processer and Nvidia

So far nothing has worked.

 

The computer was fine up to a 3-4 months ago when I claimed warrenty as the hinge broke when I got it back I had a slight flicker every 2-3 minutes but not noticeable however now its 35% black flashing and all of that. Possibly could be from the refurbishing not plugging something in or dirt got inside.

 

So basically how do I fix it?

Since the problem started after having it serviced, have you considered re-contacting the warranty provider?  Possibly the video cable wasn't fully seated when the laptop was re-assembled.

I do not believe that the computer is currently in warranty. Is it still possible to contact support about this?

You can check on the status of your warranty by visiting the link below.  If your warranty has now expired I am afraid you missed your opportunity to have Support look at it.
