Y50-70 - intel hd graphics 4600 dual monitor support

Hi everyone,

I have a Lenovo Y50-70 (Y50-70 Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 80DT) touch with intel HD graphics 4600. It has only one HDMI port support. Can I connect two monitors with DVI inputs to my laptop (extended screen not duplicate)?

Mod's Edit: System model added to the front of Subject line to improve visibility / clarity.

Re: Y50-70 - intel hd graphics 4600 dual monitor support

Hi Bob2212 ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Since the model only offers HDMI port × 1 , using a splitter may only offer you cloned display.

You do have 2 USB 3.0 port that you can use to connect to a USB Display Universal docking bay similar to this discussion

There are offered different models depending on the port you need and check likewise for supported Windows .

With such device , you can set up even more display and gadgets to customize for your need aside from just extending displays .

Hope this helps answer your query.

Update us how it goes best for you.

Regards
