Y50-70 touch pad and resolution issue

I have the Y50-70 4K with windows 10.

I do not know if this has been asked here before, it is possible to scroll with the touch pad up and down in websites?

And my second question is, Some of the programs I open are opened in really small window and almost no chance to see it, when I change the resolution from 3480 * 2160 to 1920 * 1080 the programs remain very small and only a the windows desktop icons become huge . Can it be fixed?

Re: Y50-70 touch pad and resolution issue

1) Change the resolution to 1920*1080

2) Modify the "Make Text and other items larger or smaller" setting under Display.

You will have to restart the system for full settings to take effect.

The only way to achieve a good display is to try different settings for Point 2 and see what works best. (Every change will need a restart)

Thank you for your reply, the resolution fixed.
Any idea about the touch pad? The only way I can scroll up and down in websites is with an external computer mouse and it's kind of ruin the idea of laptop

Re: Y50-70 touch pad and resolution issue

About the touchpad, try and install the drivers from this page -

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-y-series-laptops/y50-70-noteboo...

Select Mouse and keyboard in the "Component" dropdown and download for appropriate OS.

Install the driver.

Go to Control Panel and see if the Synaptics Touchpad is displayed there, double click and open it.

See if you find an option of enabling double finger gestures.

(I am not quite sure but I have these features on Yoga 3 pro)
