My y50 keyboard doesn't work on startup, I must always restart the laptop immediately after starting it for the laptop keyboard to work. I have had this problem for over 1year now. Ever since I got the laptop.
What is the problem, and how do I fix it?

You can also start by flushing out all static, remove battery and AC adaptor and hold down power button for about 15 seconds.
Also, check with safe mode.
