Y50 Not Charging

2015-04-02, 4:55 AM

I got this laptop about two weeks ago, haven't had a problem with it until today.  The laptop stopped charging, I unplugged the power supply and plugged it back in and it said it was charging.  I put it to sleep came home and the laptop was now dead.  I plugged in the charger, and the laptop boots up, but says it has a 0% Battery Life.  I can use it as long as it's plugged in, but it refuses to charge.  It's sat with it's power cord in, and computer running for nearly 45min now with it saying it's not charging.

UPDATE: I opened up the laptop and found that the clip from the battery to the logicboard had become loose.  I re-seeded it and booted up the laptop again and found that this indeed was the issue.
