Y500 Audio In port loose

Recently my Audio In jack has loosened, and whenever I have a set of headphones being unplugged the jacks port likes to come loose. It doesnt fall off its just loose and I am made to insert it back into its position.

I am just wondering if there is any recommended way of glueing it or fixating it so It does not come out every time I unplugged my headphones.

Any ideas appreciated!

Thank you

Re: Y500 Audio In port loose

Hi Mick,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I’m sorry to inform you that as the Audio Port has loosened and this port comes in a complete embedded package and not of its internal components can be repaired but the whole port should be replaced. Hence I would suggest you to contact our Technical Support for further Assistance to get the details of nearest Authorized Service Center to get the issue analyzed.
