I recently bought the Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 and I have had tons of fun with it, especially with very heavy gaming.
I've done a lot of research on Google about whether or not I should just leave the battery inside while the laptop is plugged in even when it has 100% charged but couldn't find a solid conclusion.
Can anyone explain whether I should remove the battery when it has completely charged and run on AC instead or will it be alright if I just leave the battery in?
It is ok to leave battery in.
However, just be sure to adjust the Lenovo Energy Management. Under the the Battery section in Lenovo Energy Management, select Optimized Battery Health.
It will keep your battery charged at 60% which is better than leaving the battery charged at 100% and removing the battery later.
If you know you need to go on the road, select Maximum Battery Life.
how can we improve it?
