Y510 Battery Life

I bought my laptop last September and the battery gave me about 3 hours. Now it only gives me 1.5. Does this mean the battery is dying? My warranty expires on Sepetember 9th at which point I go through Best Buy....It's always an issue with them getting parts with Lenovo. They couldnt get the keyboard so they almost junlked it, but couldnt as it was under manufacturer warranty.

I'm already sending it in Monday (when box gets here) to get my hinge and keyboard fixed

Thanks

Re: Y510 Battery Life

It's really hard to keep batteries in proper conditions so they are not losing their capacity.

Your one lost it after a year for 50%, that's a typical thing for cases when battery life is not specially has been cared of during the lifetime.

I suggest you'll get denial of replacement - battery degradation is a normal process, yours jsut went quickly.
