Y510p hdd not found and audio jack problem

A couple of days ago I was using my Y510p normally then I notice a red light coming out from the audio jack when I was plugging my headphones. I tried listening to music, sound comes from both headphones and laptop speakers, I looked around, unplugged, replugged, looked if windows was catching the headphones, but no. 2 days later, I was booting my pc, then it gives me "preparing automatic repair" at boot up screen. After waiting an hour, I turned it off and on again, windows didnt boot. I tried inserting a windows cd to install it, but when I wanted to select which partition, it didnt find any. Thought it was maybe a problem with the windows cd, so I plugged a usb with windows also, and same result.
My question is:
I still am under warranty, are these covered by warranty?
If not, my only solution atleast to get it to boot is to change my HDD?
