Hi all, I have two problems with my Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p.
1. Temperature - I am only on desktop and my GPU temperature is about 54 celsius degrees. When I changed in Lenovo Energy Management - Maximum Battery Life to Optimized Battery Health - after few minutes temperature was 40 celsius degrees. Any fix? Any help? It is normal?
2. Fan - I am only desktop and my fan is slightly noisy. When I changed in Lenovo Energy Management - Maximum Battery Life to Optimized Battery Health - after few minutes is my fan quieter and I can better work. Any fix? Any help? it is normal?
Thanks for any thoughts!

I have one question for you. I record my games with fraps, but when I start record, my game is very laggy and I have around 10 fps, when I stop record I have 60 fps. I tried another software, for example bandicam and I have not any problem, I have around 45 fps, when I record. It is interesting...

Mechanical hard drive inside only has 5400rpm, so its quite slow..try lowering video quality in fraps or write to external disk, if you want smooth gaming at the same time

Hello. I have the Y510P too and it seems to overheat sometimes. I think the Y510P is known to have cooling issues. A cooling pad would probably help with that. I usually set the battery option to balanced to reduce the noise. Hope this helps.
