Y510p slow when not plugged in and dangerously overheating when plugged in.

What do?

No but seriously, any suggestions?

I've done some research and this issue might be related to the fact that I mostly use my laptop while it is plugged in. I opened it up and got rid of some dust but to no effect.

Max temperatures reach up to 100°C when it is plugged in, without even gaming or engaging in any other kind of heavy activity. Posting this from my phone cause I'm afraid to fry the poor thing.
