Y560 Cannot Connect to Wireless

So I just bought the Y560 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834146777) and got it today. While setting up Windows I realized I was unable to connect to my home's WiFi. It picked it up, but for some reason it was unable to connect. I figured I'd just do it once the computer was done setting up Windows. I realized I was still unable to connect to the wireless network. It gets to the point where it asks me for my networks WEP key. Once entered it sits for a couple seconds, then states it cannot connect. I began doing some internet searching and have tried a couple things, but the problem still persists. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Power management, including installing an older version. I downloaded all the wireless card drive updates off the Lenovo site. As of posting this I am updating Windows 7 and have installed another driver update for the wireless card.  The Wireless Adapter in my laptop is the intel wifi link 1000 bgn. Figured I'd post this while I'm waiting for the Updates to finish (Been at 23/41 for over 30 minutes now). Will post update if anything changes.

Ok, so fully updated windows and the problem still persists! This is driving me crazy. Message reads "Windows was unable to connect to <networkname>". Some more information: the wireless card is updated to 13.3.0.24 and when I try to update it, it says its fully updated. I updated the BIOS to the one on the Lenovo site. Basically I updated all the Wireless drivers, BIOS, and Power Management to the ones listed on the site here: http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ot/en/DriversDownLoads/APR_Driver_List.aspx?CategoryID=661448&OS=W...

 

Any help on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated.

Ok problem solved. I have ATT for my ISP. Apparently the wirless router they installed was set to "WEP - Shared" and that was what was causing the issue. Changing it to "WEP - Open" seems to have fixed the problem completely. Its kind of odd it prevented me from logging on as all my other devices have no problem, but at least the problem is fixed. You can delete/close this thread.
