Y560 HDMI cable has no audio output

Question

When I plug my workable HDMI cable into my laptop and TV, I have visuals on TV but not audio. 

 

I am aware that I have to default "HDMI output" when audio is plugged in, but it always is detected as "not plugged in." 

 

Reinstallation of driver Realtek 6037 + ATI HDMI Audio Device, Realtek 6215 + ATI HDMI Audio Device do not help either.

Answer

  1. Install the graphic card driver from https://download.lenovo.com/eol/index.html
  2. Enable HIGH DEF CONTROLLER in Device manager
  3. Go into realtek audio program and pick HDMI tab
