Question

I have the Y560 and just updated the new Realtek audio driver provided from the Lenovo website.

When i touch the optimization button, from normal to movie, there is no sound difference or optimization.

A message popped up saying "Please install the correct Audio Driver before using Onekey Theater”.

I have tried un-installing the oneKey Theater program and re-installing, however, I still get that same error message.

How can i go back to the old driver that worked with one key theater? What can i do to fix this?

Answer

You sound like having the problem as describe in this hints and tips in Lenovo Support site.

You need to un-install the audio driver first before update or install a new version otherwise you may have the error message issue although the sound works fine.

  1. Try un-install audio driver from Device Manager, or  Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  2. Restart the Windows.
  3. Re-install the new audio driver.
