Re: Y560 sound problem

Same situation here.  It's more weird with earphones on.  You can hear scrolling sounds or when you hover your mouse over Windows preview aero thing in task bar.

Re: Y560 sound problem

I am also facing the same problem with my recently bought Y560 i7 processor laptop. Has anyone found the solution for this problem?

Re: Y560 sound problem

there is partly a solution:

When do you hear disturbance (background noise):
1. Unplug your earphones/ext speakers.
2. Unplug AC charger from notebook.
3. Plug it again.
4. Plug earphones/ext speakers.

Works for me, noise is leaving.

y560 sound issue

Hi... I bought a Ideapad Lenovo y560 about 6 months ago and i've got some problems...

It over heats all the freakin time, had to buy a cooling fan to put under it. but thats a minor problem..

my major problem is after 6 months, my sound has stopped working. completely. Can't even use headphones, No sound what so ever. Where the headphones jack is there is a red light that just stays on now, i take it that means something is wrong.

So basically i'm wondering if anyone could please help me out? Oh and it says everything is working fine...its lying to me..

Re: hello, help please

try to re-install sound drivers first.
( un-install current ones, restart your computer and re-install )

Lenovo Y560 Sound problem

While playing some music today I started to hear some cracking every once in a while. This never happened before and I never dropped or damaged my computer ever. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
