Y580 frame drops

Hello.

Recently i bought lenovo ideapad y580. for a week it was great and no problems. i even get used to windows 8. Then i started having this wierd problem. Whenewer i play a game, watch a movie, or do anything else and i dont touch mouse or keyboard i got this wierd frame drops and until i touch keyboard or move mouse it will stay. Uinstaling macafe, switching to high performance, newest drivers,(baterry is inside and connected) didnt help. I downloaded nvidia drivers from lenovo site. Problem was gone but i couldnt play any video game because of resolutions problem. I downloaded newest drivers again. I can play games again but the frame drops are back. I think its drivers problem.

So if anyone have or had similiar issues i would be thankful for your help

Re: Y580 frame drops

Update your Intel HD graphics drivers and see if FPS drops with latest Nvidia drivers are gone: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3712&DwnldID=22842&ProductFamily=Grap...

Re: Y580 frame drops

Since you just bought the laptop recently, it wouldn't hurt much if you reset to factory defaults using One Key Recovery. You can test if the problem still persists on factory settings.
