I ordered recovery disc and try to use that to recover back to factory default setting. It keep failing showing preMOPS fail after I put in disc 2. Anyone have same problem or know how to solve it?

Having this same problem. I talked to a software help guy from Lenevo and he figured it was my disks that were broken, and ended up sending me new ones. Still having the same problem.

Support is useless. Nobody I spoke to at Lenovo seems to be able to give me an answer. They just assume the recovery discs are bad. This question is a common one but nobody from Lenovo will even attempt to answer it.

I have tried to 'keep it clean' for as long as I could but 7 months later and still no help from support, can you really fault me for getting upset? All I want to do is to restore my laptop to its original factory setting after the useless onekey recovery failed. Somebody at Lenovo must know how to do that? I really can't believe not a single support person can explain to someone how to reinstall their y580 back to original factory conditions. Charging people $60 for disks that don't do their job is called fraud in my book!
