Y710 with 2GB DDR2 memory- Does it make sense to upgrade to 4GB?

I have just purchased the Lenovo Y710 described below and plan to install Windows Vista Ultimate with SP1 Upgrade:
-  Does it make sense to upgrade from 2GB DDR2 memory to 4GB?
-  If so, which memory upgrade is compatible, does it preserve the Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 Warranty, and where can I look for it online in the US?
"Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 Notebook PC - Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz, 802.11a/g/n Wireless, 2GB DDR2, 500GB HDD, Dual Layer DVDRW/Blu-Ray Drive, 17" WXGA+, Integrated Webcam, Windows Vista Home Premium"

Thanks!

Re: Y710 with 2GB DDR2 memory- Does it make sense to upgrade to 4GB?

if its Vista 64 bit and not the 32 bit then yes, but if you run 32 bit version of Vista, then 3 gig is the maximum amount the operating system would recognize and use, the other 1 gig if you have installed 4 gig of ram will just sit there and do nothing...
