Y730 - Just keeps Blue Screening

I am SO unhappy with this laptop its not even funny.  I only had this laptop 1 1/2 and I am ready to get replace it.  All of a sudden my laptop started blue screening.  Now in my Event view all I see is:

Event ID 11  The Device detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort0

 

Another of my many issues is that this POS cant reboot.  I have to unplug EVERY USB device connected to the laptop, turn the power off and then it reboots.

 

I will NEVER be buying a lenovo laptop again.

use one key recover to restore your system.

if it doesn't solve your issue, contact lenovo support line for replacement.

( possible hard disk or main board issue )

I upgraded this laptop to Win 7 so they wont help.

i got the same error on my -old- laptop, had to change hard disk. so i can say, better to call support line for asking replacement.

Controller error would either be:
1- Bad wiring connection or faulty SATA chip (small chance).
2- bad HDD (big chance).

Download a S.M.A.R.T utility and check your HDD SMART record. It may be about to fail.
