I have a question about the Lenovo Yoga 700-14ISK (14" model). I see some are shipped with an SSD and some with an HDD. Is there place to place both an SSD and an HDD? Then I could for example buy the one with the SSD, and install an HDD next to it myself.
It seems possible with the 700-15ISK (15") model, but I was wondering whether this is also the case for the 14" model.

Hi Loek ,
Storage offered based from product specification :
Some: SSHD with 8GB NAND fl ash memory , Some: SSD / SATA 6.0Gb/s, 2.5" wide, 5mm high
Checking with the hardware manual page 37 , as the only location for the storage and no availble slot for additional SSD that may be limited due to the size limitation as confirmed on one of the reviews (under storage devices) .
Hope this helps answer your query.

Hi Spidey, thanks for you quick and clear answer! Too bad there is no room for both an SSD and HDD. Do you happen to know whether the new Yoga 710 will support this? I cannot really find a lot of specs for this new model.

HI Loek ,
• 2.5-inch, NGFF, 128 GB / 256 GB, SATA II/SATA III (Lenovo
YOGA 710-14ISK/Lenovo YOGA 710-14IKB)
• 2.5-inch, NGFF, 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB, SATA II/SATA III
(Lenovo YOGA 710-15ISK/Lenovo YOGA 710-15IKB)
Yoga 710 14'' only allow M.2 SSD up to 256 GB but the 15'' inch can hold up to 1 TB .
The small design intended does limit additional storage space to accomodate but do have a lot of advanced devices on it including a faster AC WLAN card with hinge antennae that enhances better signal.
Hope this helped answer your questions.

I bought a Lenovo Yoga 710 15IKB with 256 GB SSD.
I would like to change this SSD to a 1TB SSD. Is it possible?
Is there any compatible model in the market?
This laptop only works with M.2 SSD?
