Z40-70 - Device Manager Update Driver Error

2015-10-10, 21:15 PM

I am currently using a Lenovo Z40-70 laptop running Windows 10 (upgraded from Windows 8.1 earlier).  In the "Device Manager", you can update the drivers of the different hardware components.  However, I could not update the drivers of three items, which are "UMDF HID minidriver Device", "IVD Bus Enumerator" and "Lenovo Primary iM Controller".  All of them are "Functioning Normally" but have an "Unidentifiable" location.  In addition, the first and third item are manufactured by "Lenovo Corporation" while the second item is manufactured by "(Standard system devices)".  Although none of these items should affect my normal usage of the laptop, is this problem a big issue or should I just ignore it?  Also, is there anything which I should do or should be done to fix this problem?  Thank you for everyone's attention.

Mod's Edit: System model added to front of Subject line to improve visibility / clarity.

Dear suenkachun,

Welcome in lenovo community,

Please try to,

Right click unidentified driver from the device manager >> Properties >> Choose Details from the upper tabs >> from Property list choose Hardwares Ids >> take a screenshot.

Repeat that with every unidentified driver and send me screenshots for everyone.

Regards,

Joseph

Thank you for replying.  I've uploaded the three screenshots to dropbox and the links are below.

UMDF HID minidriver Device: Image.
IVD Bus Enumerator: Image.
Lenovo Primary iM Controller: Image.

My Lenovo Laptop is displayed in Traditional Chinese but the screenshots are showing the three Hardware IDs anyway.
