After I updated my BIOS from 4ACN33WW to 4ACN39WW, my Nvidia Geforce GT 540M can no longer be used.
I checked in the device manager that "Windows has stopped the device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
I have tried to uninstall and reinstalled all the latest drivers for my GPU, but nothing worked.
Lenovo Ideapad Z470
CPU: Intel core i3 @2.2GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 540M

Is above solution work? I do have same problem with same machine spec. I did recovery to factory setting and I was hoping it will be fine and the problem still the same. Please advise. My current bios version is 4ACN35WW.

Thanks for your reply! ya it didn't work for me neither. I sent the Z470 to service dealer centre and been told the graphic device is malfunction, it's hardware problem apparently.
