I have a Lenovo z50-70 80E7 computer. I think I fried my motherboard. Computer will turn on, but nothing on screen (checked it on external monitor), makes a loud beep if you disconnect the power cord while turned on. So here are my two questions.
If I find a compatible mother board and replace it should it detect my BIOS? If only my motherboard is the issue should the computer work?
My motherboard FRU is 5B20G45454. Intel I7-4510U 2.0 GHz nm-a273. Are there any other FRU’s that are compatible with my motherboard and work with my BIOS? For instance I found 5b20g45461. Which is I7 4510u nm a272. Would this work?
