Last week our puppy dog has bitten on the adapter cable, although only a small hole shown it's needless to say that the laptop couldn't charge anymore.
Ordered and received a genuine Lenovo 65W / 20V adapter, and connected to the power supply to have the battery charged again (was still about 80% full).
When the battery ran empty, I noticed that it wasn't charging at all. Got a message that battery was almost charged, although only 2% remaining. Also the battery icon on the screen showed as beiing charged for approx. 10 seconds, and then nothing.
Now the battery is completely discharged, tried all possible known solutions but can't get it working again...
- Unplugged power & removed battery, held power button for 30 seconds, reconnected adapter.
- Tried with and without battery
- Used Novo button
Both power and battery indicator lights in the front do not light up, no idea what else can be done.
Anyone who might be able help? Thanks!

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Try to review the Power System Check out (page 21-22 here on the hardware manual).
Using a volt meter, you can test the new charger if it gives off the required power as it seems the laptop is not getting anything at all as no power indicator LED would even turn on.
If the charger is tested ok then, probable issue with either the motherboard or DC in port can further be checked if it is affected by the issue. Operational charging indicated in the manual "If the charge indicator still does not light on, replace the system board".
Update us how it goes.
