Re: Z50 70 touchpad scrolling one finger?

Hi Cubeblast,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As per the query we understood that you are looking to perform touchpad scrolling one finger in your Z50-70 laptop.

  1. To perform one finger scrolling go to control panel, select mouse option under mouse select ultranav tab,

  1. Under ultranav select touchpad setting under setting select the drop down option

  1. Under the scrolling, you can find two option as one finger scrolling and two finger scrolling, select the two finger scrolling.

  1. Disable the two finger scroll option by unticking on the enable option, click on apply and ok button and check for the issue.

Hope this helps. Do post back if issue persists!

Best regards,

Re: Z50 70 touchpad scrolling one finger?

I could not find this utranav option so I tried downloading 'Synaptics ThinkPad UltraNav Driver' from the lenovo website but it gave a message which says device not found.

must you delete the old drivers. or can you keep them? i'm new to driver installations

Re: Z50 70 touchpad scrolling one finger?

Hi Cubeblast,

Thanks for the reply,

As the drivers are not installed hence the ultranav option are not installed, please delete the old driver and install the latest driver according to the operating system currently installed in the system.

Also check if the touchpad is detected in the device manager.

Hope this helps. Do post back if issue persists!

Best regards,

Re: Z50 70 touchpad scrolling one finger?

Hi

I'm also very interested in using ultranav.
I like the one finger circling scroll on my company T530.

Cubeblast wrote that he would like to use ultranav on a Z50-70.
I also now owned this laptop and I am confused:
- You tell to uninstall the old driver and just install ultranav.
- Found 2 sites with different versions of ultranav
http://support.lenovo.com/en/downloads/ds013749
http://support.lenovo.com/en/downloads/ds014080
- Both do NOT list Z50-xx in their compatibility list.

So I would kindly askonce more:
Can I use ultranav together with a Z50-70 ?
And which would be the proper driver ?

Best regards
