Unfortunately , just after 3 years of using lenovo z500 , my hdd st1000lm024 hn-m101mbb ( 1 to and 6 gb) is broken , so I need to replace him , some buyers suggest me SSD but it s a more expensive for me , I found a hard drive hybrid from seagate , hybrid sdd or sshd , but I don't know if I can replace my old hdd by hybrid sdd in lenovo z500 , I want to say is it possible ? Because in youtube i see some people replace hdd by ssd in z500 but I don t know if is possible with hybrid ssd 500 go .

I found my 1 to has 9.5 mm in height but the sshd has just 7 mm , the lenght of my old hdd is 100.30 mm but sshd has 100.31 mm and about widht , my broken hdd has 69.75 mm and sshd has 70.1mm .

All this difference especially in height can cause me problem ?

So do you suggest me SSD ?? About ssd , can I replace my HDD by a new SSD without any problem ? Or I need something to add to my hardware for good functionning ? Because I found a SSD has 

Dimensions: 100 × 69.85 × 6.8mm

This dimensions will cause me a problem ?

I have the Seagate SSHD ST1000LM014 installed. There's no problem, it's just a remove and replace task. You may have a problem with the OKR feature if you want it to be functional.

Okr means One Key Recovery. The original hdd is ST1000LM024. Here are the dimensions for the orignal hdd and the sshd:
