This hasn't worked since the Windows 10 update. I have tried updating drivers, rebooting, turning settings on or off in the lenovo settings "app" and it just doesn't show up. This is extremely frustrating seeing as I have searched the internet for a solution and so far nothing seems to be working.

I suspect that Windows 10 will be the issue here, you meant the Z570 units yes?
Unfortunately I can`t see your unit listed on either of the below links:
And I cannot see any available drivers for Windows 10 for this unit on the support page, which simply means that your unit has not been tested with Windows 10, so Lenovo wont be able to guarantee that everything works as it should when Win 10 is used on the unit, hence the camera issue, which also explains why it started after the Win 10 update.
I would recommend that you revert back to the previous Windows version, and see if the issue persists.
