If a Z510 is put into sleep mode and then the AC adapter is unplugged, when the Z510 is brought out of sleep mode, the CPU may become stuck running at 0.77Ghz.
With devices running v39 of the BIOS, Z510 users are reporting that they have to plug in the power and shut down completely in order to resolve the issue.
Lenovo investigated and has developed a test version v40 of the BIOS to resolve the issue reported.
While we wait for the V40 test BIOS 8DCN40WW to be officially released, I am making it available to forum members. You can find it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0Wzd6g3ynHwRzM0amNEcUJaTW8/view?usp=sharing
