Z510 - Factory Reset Disc?

I recently tried to factory reset my Lenova z510 and not sure if I messed up or not, but it seem like I need a disc of some sort.

Whenever I turned on the laptop the screen goes straight to, I think a blue screen, asking for a reboot disc.

Now I'm just stuck there not being able to use the laptop.

I was hoping if anyone got any answers since I don't have a recovery disc. I tried searching the lenova forums as well and was trying to figure out how to contact the customer support but to no avail.

 

Or if anyone know where I can get a recovery/factory reset disc for lenova z510.

Welcome to the Community Forums. 

 

What is the original operating system that came with your machine? 

Was there any changes made to the partition causing One Key Recovery (chapter 3) to fail?

 

For Windows 7 , as Microsoft no longer have the ISO image available for download , you may need to order the recovery set from technical support / or the retail store you have it ordered. You may also check with your local service center for other options.

9:00 - 18:00 Sunday - Thursday

 

Try removing the charger and battery first , then press and hold down the power button for 12 seconds to drain. Use the Novo button (item 7 page 83) to power on the machine . Proceed with System Recovery in the Novo Menu and choose One Key Recovery from initial back up. 

 

Update us how it goes.
