I have an IdeaPad Z570 running Windows 8 RTM. i have downloaded and installed Lenovo Energy Management for Windows 8 (184.108.40.206) from the Drivers & Downloads.
The application installed successfully, but i can't set the battery mode to "Optimized Battery Health" once i set it it goes back automatically to "Maximum Battery Life"

The whole software is bugged.
Hotkeys for the fan and other touch buttons don't work (yes these are powered by this program)
Relaunching the program, without a restart, often leads to missing blocks or crappy UI look
In-ability to save setting
I ended up installing the old power management system, taking its files and adding them to what is broken on the new system. In short, it was a major pain, but I have a nearly flawless system now with the looks of the new and functionality of the old.
If only I can get 1key theater working, I will leave this forum.
