this didn't work for me. neither did the proposed solution of uninstalling the Microsoft driver suggested elsewhere. Plus that other solution removed the battery status icon from the bottom of my screen. I think Lenovo probably owes us all a solution

There is no problem either in hardware or software. Please follow the following steps:
1- Open your energy Manager. (It is a lenovo application to monitor Battery function)
2- Click on bottom that is located upper right to open settings. (It is located below - X)
3- Click on Settings tab.
4- Turn off Conservative Mode.
5- The battery will be charged to 100%.
