Any idea where I can purchase in the UK a replacement screen Lid & bezel for a Z570 ideapad?

Have you checked eBay or Amazon for your country ?  They are usually a good source of parts at a reasonable price.

Is there anyway i can do a health check on my pc ? Christ knows what the kids have done but my laptop is working slower than ever or would you suggest taking it to an I.T. boff ?

Kids and computers, it could be a variety of things causing a slow down. A virus, malware, adware, bloatware or a hardware problem.  The simpliest solution would be to have an IT person look at it and clean it up and check it over.  The service won't be free, but it will save you time and when it is returned you will know that it is operating as it should.

Well the laptop won't even start up now Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Keeps on trying to go through a process saying "start up repair" any suggestions boys and girls for a new laptop ?

Sorry to hear of your added problem. My guess is this new problem is also related to your earlier slow down.  The first suspect on my list would be a bad hard drive.
