I got a Lenovo Z580 laptop in 2012. From the beginning I used to get Blue Screen of Death when I shutdown and powered on my laptop, but if I just restart there was no issues. The exception used to vary from "Paging in unpaged memory" to "IQR_LESS_THAN_EQUAL" or something like that, I don't remember it correctly.
I used to live with it, but now it became worse and I can't even boot it up. I restored to the factory default image and I still have the same issue.
I even upgraded to Windows 8, it worked for a day and then the same problem. Is this a hardware issue ?
Disk management shows that the drives are healthy.
1. 200 MB NTFS Healthy (System, Active, Primary Partition)
2. 886.32 GB NTFS Healthy (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition)
3. 25.47 GB NTFS Healthy (Logical Drive)
4. 19.53 GB Healthy (OEM Partition)
I have tried everything and no clue on how to proceed. Once the system boots up, I don't have any issues.

Usually it is system corrupted file/files. Try going to command prompt with admin rights. Type without quotation mark "sfc /scannow". If sfc finds errors and it cannot make the repair try running Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth under administrator rights also in command prompt..

I have tried that, the tool shows that no issues were found. I ran the
Windows Diagnostic Tool, there were no issues found with my RAM.
Below are the reason for BSOD
With Windows 8, laptop restarts abruptly.
I have installed all new drivers from Lenovo website. Any other suggestions
I can't think of other solution other than a bios update. Are you now on the latest bios?

Sorry for the late reply, will explain the delay.
First to asnwer the last question, I was using McCafee and Windows Essentials.
I wanted to change the OS to narrow down the problem, so I installed Ubuntu. I worked for 15 - 20 minutes and then I started to get wierd errors like (Read-Only file system etc....)
Finally I gave up and gave my laptop to a service station. The guy came back stating that some IC near the RAM slot was damaged. I wanted to know more information about the fault but couldn't get any information from him.
The laptop is fine for now, will update if I find any issues in future.
Still I wanted to know what exactly happened with my laptop :-(
Was waiting for the laptop to be repaired, this reason for the delay.
