I have recently bought IdeaPad Z580 in 'NO OS' option.
I installed a fresh new Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) and started installing various drivers from the lenovo website.
I managed to install drivers for chipset, Intel HD Graphics 4000 but I cannot install drivers for GeForce 635M.
In Device Manager my GeForce is identified as "Standard VGA Device"; I tried all avaible drivers from website; I have Optimus option enabled in BIOS, I tried with both UEFI enabled and disabled; every time the driver installer states that it "could not find compatible hardware". I even went to NVIDIA support page and run their scanning utility; it detected GeForce 635M, but refused to install any drivers because I should use drivers provided by laptop manufacturer.
What shall I do to enable second video card?

Good day and welcome to the community.
I believe that the Optimus driver package also installs support for the HD4000, but I don't know this for absolute certain. You may wish to try removing the HD4000 package and installing the Win7 Optimus package available from your Device Driver Matrix.
Hopefully, other members will see your query soon and share their personal experience.

Okay, after few hours of trying every possible driver setup, I finally found a solution at a forum somewhere: drivers downloaded from Chineese version of lelovo site (no joke; download avaible here) actually detect the card and install. The self-extracting archieve is in Chineese, but the installer itself and the driver are in English. Google Translate made my day

Glad you solved it.
Out of curiousity, what are your driver versions now that you've installed? How do those version numbers compare to the drivers on the matrix page I linked above?

Did you even try the link I suggested from Nvidia... it is the latest driver for the GT635m why woudln't you use that. So now your using a 6 month old driver from some chinese provider that could have been modified for all you know but that's cool.

Intel HD Graphics driver is in version 220.127.116.1126 (from 2012-01-18), and GeForce driver is 18.104.22.16896 (from 2012-06-23).
Both of those versions are available in the main driver matrix I linked.
Had you tried those or the Optimus driver prior to visiting the Lenovo China site?
