Z580 TouchPad Driver Win8

Hi,

I upgraded system to Windows 8, including many errors with Werfault.exe I have problem with Touchpad. I downloaded new driver from support/driver page here, but even there is a note that it is for 64bit / 32bit system, I cant install it because of error that have to run 64bit version of program DPInst.exe.

Hi. With driver packs what lenovo provided are problems during default unpacker run.

Try unpack drivers pack using winrar or something else to some destination and then run setup fro fm location where are files unpacked.

Just one question, after you installed the driver, did the touchpad working properly? how about its other functions?

Hi guys, I had the same problem. I reported the issue to support... Through that I instal driver properly(somehow -I didnt know about winrar solution) it isnt working properly... scrolling axises are changed, after trying manage it by settings everything ***** WerFault.exe pop up... Since that become win8 unusable... that error still pop up even when I want setup volume by volume icon....
Actully I am back on win7...

BTW capslock utility is not working on win8...
